Valentine.

This is one of my favorite photos of me and Blake from our honeymoon in 2007. We were at a luau in Maui. It was such a fun night and such an amazing time we spent together.
So much has changed over these past few years. I love this man so much - more than ever -- to the point I can't even begin to describe. He is going to be such a good Daddy, and it makes me so happy.
Happy Valentine's Day, Lover. Thanks for being mine.

Petty.

While in Denver, Blake and I went to see Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers perform.
I've attended a show every time he tours since 2002, but I've never seen a show quite like this one.
Regina Spektor opened for Tom. And in case you don't know, she's amazing.
During her performance, Blake and I were able to get nearly right up against the stage. It was probably the best opening act I've ever seen for any show.
When Tom Petty appeared, he was as incredible as ever, and put on an extremely unique and brilliant show.
He reached deep into his track history and played some tunes I have never heard him perform before; songs dating back to the very beginning of his career; songs not often heard.
I am so happy that Blake and I were at this show. It was amazing, and I somewhat doubt we'll ever see and hear these songs performed live by him again.
I just love me some Mr. Petty.
He's pretty phenomenal.

Botanic Gardens.

Last week, Blake and I headed out of town for a few days to Colorado.
During our visit, we spent a day at the Denver Botanic Gardens; the absolute perfect way to welcome the Spring Season.
The Gardens are so amazingly beautiful; each individual plot housing unique plants and flowers from different climates and countries throughout the world.
The Asian Gardens were our favorite.
The Chinese plots are designed around fantastic entryways and covered bridges. To walk through them, created a sensation of being transported into another world. I loved it.
We lingered for a bit in the Japanese Gardens. Blake absolutely loves Japanese art and landscaping. I'm pretty sure he was in Heaven during our time there.
And the Cherry Blossoms...Perfection.
We had such an incredible and relaxing day.

MOAB.

Blake went on a Moab mountain biking trip this past weekend with his manly-friends {plus one cute wife (=}.
I stayed home...Worked...Did some homework...The usual.
I'm glad he went. He had a good time.
I think its a nice break for him, as I tend to be a bore.
I'm only teasing...He loves me.

Day 4-Coming Home.

We woke up early, checked out, and stopped at a little pancake house for breakfast.
Yum.
On our way home.
We picked up Indi and it felt like she hadn't missed us for even a minute.
Then, my favorite moment of the entire trip.
About halfway home, she snuck up into the front seat and laid her head across me.
She's never done that before.

Awe...Maybe she missed me afterall.
