Labor Day Hike.

Blake, Indiana, and I hiked up Battle Creek Falls today.
The trail is located on the front side of Mount Timpanogos, near Pleasant Grove.
It's a .5 mile hike to the falls, and just under 7.5 if you hike the whole thing. We hiked a good portion of the trail, but didn't have enough time to go the entire way. We're planning on going back when we can really take our time and enjoy ourselves.
Today was absolutely beautiful and the temperatures were perfect. As we hiked, we were able to feel the cool spray from the rushing river slowly float up and hang over the trail.
It was serene. That's the only way I can describe how it felt.
There are so many local hikes, so many local activities, that we just don't know about.
My goal is for Blake and I to get out and experience what is around us. Unfortunately, between school and work, there really isn't much time for traveling this fall season. I still want to go. I want to see, do, play, explore. I stress everyday. I need a break from that as often as possible.
We're planning to raft down the Provo River soon. We're both very excited.
I hope you had a great Labor Day.
And I hope you didn't labor all that much.
-Jess.
